Adults complaint of Insomnia
If sleeping disorders disturbkids at night, on some otherbedrooms and houses, itdoes the same thing evento adults. As many as 30 to 35percent of adults complainof insomnia.- http://sleepeducation.org/essentials-in-sleep/insomnia -
Approximately 50% ofolder adults complain ofdifficulty sleeping. Poorsleep results in increasedrisk of significant morbidityand mortality. The decrementsseen in the sleep of the olderadult are often due to adecrease in the ability to getneeded sleep. - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2842167/ -
The difference in sleeping disorders experienced by adults is that their age’s somehow not influential in their suffering. Other factors indeed plays a larger roles such as medical and psychiatric illness, increased medication use, advances in the endogenous circadian clock and a higher prevalence of specific sleep disorders. Given the large number of older adults with sleep complaints and sleep disorders, there is a need for health care professionals to have an increased awareness of these sleep disturbances to better enable them to assess and treat these patients.-https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2842167/ -

It has long been the belief that the amount of sleep needed per night decreases with age. Yet, in a national survey of older adults, the total sleep time reported was, on average, 7 h a night – the same or more than that reported by younger adults.(- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2842167/ -)
Insomnia on adults is not far different from those of other ages although the harder fact that this one holds is the difference between what adults do or intake compared to the others who are also suffering,Studies may say contradicting points on these but one thing is certain, whoever is suffering, how old they are or whatever sexuality they hold, treatment is what they need and deserve.
